Starting training
Think about what you want to accomplish with your pup.
Whether it's behavior modification, or walks with your dog, you must go through an evaluation. This allows me to get you know you and your dog. What you may need for an initial 1-2 hour long session:
- flat collar
- harness
- treats
- 3-6 foot leash (ideally shorter is better)
- Rewards( treats and/or toys)
1:1 lessons
I always start with 1:1 lessons. It's important for all of us tobe on the same page and for us to get to know each other. In lessons we will begin to build a foundation for everything your dog needs to know in navigating our urban environment.
Board and trains
Board and trains offer clear consistent structure. In conjunction with lessons I have found them to be the most successful long term for everything from puppy development. behavior modification. A board and train alone does not solve an issue, but your dog and your dog will go home with skills to navigate life safely and to the fullest degree possible.
Group Classes
Group classes are only offered to pre existing clients. These clases are designed to test your skills in difficult environments. Our classes are 6 weeks long and focus on relationship building, obedience and most importantly, FUN!
