1:1 lessons

Regardless of what program you are deciding on, we will always start with a single 1:1 lesson after our phone consultation. It is incredibly important that you think I'm a good fit for you and your pup. Our first lesson will cover any pressing questions, the foundation to building engagement and management strategies. We will also discuss a training plan that will fit you and your dog. 

Generally will complete 3-6 lessons prior to a board and train. I find this helps the dog transition back home easier as they are already use to training with you. This also allows you to to get a better grasp as to what your pups training will be like during their stay. 

In lessons we can cover:

• Management strategies for both adult and young dogs
• Navigating multi-dog and person house dynamics  
• Foundation to obedience (recall, stay, leash walking etc.)
• crate training for both adult and young dogs
• setting up structure to combat destructive behavior
• mild-moderate reactivity (case by case)
• puppy development (socialization, engagement games, puppy proofing)
