Puppy 1 "The Foundation"
The american kennel club has a CGC program for puppies! Its called AKC Star puppy. This is a great way to set our puppies up for success. We can begin to teach our puppies how to properly interact with their environment. In this class we will teach our puppies how to learn with us as well as work on various exercises that discourage behaviors such as nipping, jumping, resource guarding, boredom barking and more.
For puppies 12 weeks- 5 1/2 months
Obedience 1 "Engagement"
This class is for adolescent dogs. Limited to 3 teams. A lot of dogs develop reactivity during their adolescents. By working our dogs with other dogs we can help ease them through this process. We can also troubleshoot difficulties of owning teenage dogs and discuss ways we can limit their ability to create bad habits.
For dogs 6-15 months
Obedience "CGC"
The CGC is an AKC evaluation. This class covers the CGC, CGCA or CGCU. This is a more advanced class where we will work with our dogs with more life skills. Unlike the "engagement" obedience class, we wont work on confidence building and building communication skills.
Limited to 6 teams
Things we will work on
Sit - Down - Stay - Heel - distractions - recall - place - appropriate behavior with dogs/people - working in close proximity with other dogs and more!
Trick Dog
This class is all about fun! Each week we will learn a new trick, or work off of a trick we have already started. Training does not have to be serious.
Tricks are a great way to engage with your dog. They are fun and teach us how to communicate with our pets. In trick dog training, I have a huge emphasis on markers. Marker words tell our dog what they did correctly, essentially taking a picture of what we liked so that we may recreate it.
If you are AKC registered, you can earn titles for your pup. Unlike other group classes, this class is a drop in class. It does not follow a 6 week ciriculum

Each class can have 6 dogs maximum. You must pay prior to the class in order to secure your spot
